Overwatch Korea gets exclusive rewards for D.Mon, Baptiste, and more

Overwatch players in Korea are getting daily login rewards. These items, which include a Baptiste skin, lots of loot boxes, a Busan cow spray, and D.Mon rewards, are exclusive to the region.

Overwatch Korea gets exclusive rewards

Between Sept. 23 and Oct. 22, Overwatch players in Korea can log in to the game and earn some free rewards. These include a legendary Baptiste skin, loot boxes galore, 600 Overwatch Credits, a Battle Pass tier skip, a tiger souvenir, a D.Mon name card plus weapon charm referencing her mech, and an adorable Busan Cow spray.

According to esports.gg’s translation, the quantities shown in the image above refer to the total amount of rewards as opposed to the daily amounts. This means, for example, 600 Overwatch Credits can be earned in total for logging in between Sept. 23 and Oct. 22. It also means eight regular loot boxes, two epic ones, and a single legendary loot box.

Exclusive and region-locked Overwatch events

This isn’t Overwatch’s first region-locked event. In 2025, players in China got to experience an exclusive Talon event and Naraka Bladepoint collaboration. The country received an exclusive Loverwatch one as well.

According to esports.gg’s translation of Genji’s route in that Loverwatch event, players were able to learn more about him and the important people in his life like Kiriko, Mercy, Hanzo, and Zenyatta. Certain choices also made Genji blush and increased his level of affection toward the player.

Interestingly, some Loverwatch skins that were once exclusive to China became available worldwide earlier this year. For a limited time, players were able to purchase Date Night Genji, Cassidy, Lifeweaver, Juno, Junker Queen, and more directly from the in-game shop.

Will the rest of the world get Korea’s region-locked rewards in the future? Only time will tell.
