Old School RuneScape’s latest summer sweep-up features new amulets and other

There is a lot of loot to be had in Old School RuneScape, as one might expect, and that means that Jagex might need some time to get around to all of making all of the tweaks that it wants to do to the sandbox. It’s that spirit of cleaning things up that seems to be a throughline for the MMORPG’s latest patch and its item-centered line of summer sweep-up changes.

Much of the item changes come in the form of neckwear, namely with the arrival of the Necklace of Fangs to the Turoth loot drop table and the introduction of several new magic amulets. There is also a selection of targeted item changes for things like surge potions, shark lures, and Ghonmal’s Lucky Penny among them.

Other things of note for this patch include a list of tweaks for permanent Deadman mode, a lineup of bug fixes, inventory locking for the seed vault, and some functionality related to lecterns in player houses. If all of that sounds really granular, well, that’s because it is. But then Jagex does have a lot of items to adjust.
