Following release.
MapleStory Classic has been with us now for over a week and judging by today’s press release I think it’s safe to say Nexon is quite pleased with the results so far. In fact the launch has gone so well that MapleStory has seen peak numbers more than double its previous peak on Steam alone.
And the fun doesn’t just stop there. November will see the launch of a brand new Classic-exclusive area for players level 39-59, the Forgotten Hollow. Around Thanksgiving (American) time, players at least level 10 can team up to complete the Moon Bunny’s Rice Cake party quest.
December brings in a new guild system alongside a new party quest and Happyville for the holidays. Future updates include the first classic boss raid plus third job enhancement. More to come on both.
