High school crushes can be complicated enough without having to worry about ghosts, cursed notebooks and classmates who might not be entirely human.
Love Love Mystery Club mixes teenage romance with some decidedly darker supernatural goings-on, and is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC for £16.74, with Xbox Play Anywhere support.
Developed by NANA Stories and published by Dolores Entertainment, this horror-dating simulator takes place in a Thai high school. After discovering an ability to see spirits, your young student decides to join the occult club. It’s a decision that opens the door to a collection of unusual friendships, potential romances and some rather unpleasant supernatural encounters.

Six Girls, Plenty Of Secrets
The occult club is home to a varied bunch of personalities, and deciding who deserves your attention is only part of the challenge.
Fern is the cheerful enthusiast who first recognises your unusual talent, while shy artist Krachet finds herself haunted after picking up a cursed notebook. Main is the school’s star dancer, although her late-night practice sessions have attracted something particularly nasty.
Then there’s Woon, whose dangerous experiments could use a helping hand, hot-headed biker Lily and the mysterious Ploy – a girl seemingly invisible to everyone except you.
Each character brings their own story and supernatural complications, leaving you to decide who you want to protect most.
Romance With A Rather Dark Side
Love Love Mystery Club looks to play with the familiar dating-simulator formula, but there’s considerably more at stake than choosing the right dialogue to impress a classmate. Spirits and occult mysteries are woven into the relationships, giving the school setting an increasingly unsettling edge.
The game previously arrived on Steam, where it received Overwhelmingly Positive reviews, before making a more recent appearance on Nintendo Switch. Xbox and PC players can now get involved too.
If your idea of a school romance involves a little supernatural danger alongside the usual teenage drama, Love Love Mystery Club offers an intriguing change of pace. At £16.74 via the Xbox Store, there’s a whole occult club to get acquainted with – although some of its members might be better left alone.
