GTA 6 Will Let Jason and Lucia Break Up

It has been confirmed that GTA 6 will let Jason and Lucia break up and still have a cordial relationship.

Players have already been told they will need to put in some effort if they want Jason and Lucia to have a healthy relationship, and Rockstar has confirmed this is optional and won’t have a major effect on the game. However, we’ve now been informed that they can actually break up.

GTA 6 Will Also Let Players Have Toxic Relationships

A new set of details emerged from MikeShowSha’s conversation with Rob Nelson during the GTA 6 preview session, translated on r/GTA by El_Pintor64. TGG also has a new video going over these details. One of the most interesting is the relationship dynamics between Jason and Lucia. Rob Nelson has confirmed that Jason and Lucia can break up in GTA 6 and stop being a romantic couple. So it’s up to the player to decide whether they want a romantic relationship or a professional one.

However, the duo will remain partners during their criminal escapades as their shared story will continue. Players can also have toxic relationships, where they can decide whether to tell Jason and Lucia something or hide it. Telling them immediately could have repercussions, but hiding it will lead to even bigger problems if they find out later. Rockstar has said these situations can be compared to real-life couple experiences.
